The resurrection of Jesus Christ.
A moment that symbolizes miracles, renewal, purpose, & the ultimate evidence.
A divine disruption that shattered the finality of death, exposed the hypocrisy of man, and forever proved that truth, light, and life cannot be buried.
But before there was resurrection,
There was betrayal.
Humiliation.
Abandonment.
Injustice.
And death.
Let’s rewind…
Jesus — a man who healed the sick, fed the poor, and forgave the broken —
was betrayed by one of his closest friends.
Judas.
Not a stranger. Not an enemy.
A friend who walked with him, saw miracles, shared meals —
and still chose to sell him out for 30 pieces of silver.
And it didn’t stop there.
Peter, another one of his inner circle, denied even knowing him — not once, but three times.
The other disciples? Gone. Scattered. Silent.
Then came the public disgrace.
False accusations.
A rigged trial.
Corrupt religious leaders who pretended to stand for righteousness while manipulating the system behind closed doors.
A mob, once cheering his name, now screamed: “Crucify him.”
They mocked him.
Spit on him.
Beat him.
Stripped him naked.
Hung him up like a criminal — next to actual criminals.
All while the people he loved the most watched from a distance… or not at all.
Why?
Because if the perfect man — a sinless man — was wrongly judged, betrayed, and abandoned…
Then what makes you or me think we won’t face trials and tribulations too?
Jesus is the ultimate blueprint for how to stand tall when you’re misunderstood, lied about, left out, disrespected, and falsely accused.
But here’s the part that hits the hardest:
He didn’t fight back with fists.
He didn’t call down fire.
He didn’t justify, scream, or try to explain himself.
He stood in truth.
In purpose.
In silence.
Because the people screaming “crucify him” didn’t decide his fate —
They were just unknowingly setting the stage for the resurrection.
Judged By The Broken
You may feel betrayed by people you helped.
Shamed by those with dirtier hands than yours.
Abandoned by friends who swore they had your back.
Judged by hypocrites who break in private what they preach in public.
But none of that disqualifies your purpose.
It prepares it.
They mocked Jesus as “King of the Jews” —
Not realizing he really was the King… just not in the way they understood.
You may be in your trial right now.
Your cross. Your silence. Your betrayal.
But the resurrection is coming.
And when it does, everyone who buried you will have to witness the comeback.
Remember this:
Judas sat at the same table as Jesus.
The Pharisees looked righteous on the outside but were filled with corruption.
Jesus was murdered by religious leaders… not sinners.
Your pain doesn’t mean you’re lost.
It might mean you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.
So hold the line.
Keep walking.
Speak truth — even in silence.
Your story isn’t over.
If the perfect man was betrayed, shamed, and crucified by the very people he came to save…
Why would you and I be exempt from trials and tribulations?
Betrayed by people you helped? So was Jesus.
Judged by hypocrites hiding their own skeletons? So was Jesus.
Abandoned when you needed people the most? So was Jesus.
Your trials don’t disqualify your purpose.
They reveal it.
Because what was sent to break you — built you.
Resurrection always follows the crucifixion.
📖 Bible Verse
“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.”
— Hebrews 4:15
Reflection: Jesus didn’t just die for us — He walked through everything we feel: betrayal, injustice, loneliness.
So when you’re in your lowest valley, you’re never alone — you're walking a path He already conquered.
Yeah real Christ like man good work
