(Not just the due date!) This ensures your balance is reported correctly & keeps your utilization low, which is responsible for 30% of your FICO credit scores.
🧾 Keep Credit Utilization Under 20–30%
Ideally below or between 1-10% if you're preparing to apply for funding, a car loan, or a mortgage. Most people pay off or down their cards on the due date, but it has already reported by the statement date.

Ask a trusted family member to add you to an aged credit card with low usage, perfect payment history & ideally a larger limit ($10,000 or more)— no spending or card access needed for full peace of mind for the other party.
